Fiction Synopsis: 

This story will take place in two main countries, England and then later in Hong Kong.  It is a tale about a girl (Michelle Yip) growing up in loneliness and feeling insecure.  She comes from a broken family with a shattered childhood.  As she steps into the adults world, will her world patch up to be better or shatter even more…? 

Vicki Zhao will be the supporting female character in this story.  She is a rational and wise girl who helps Michelle through hard times.  She is an orphan who is fights back her emotions to be rational.   

Wallace Huo is the leading male character in this story.  He grows up in a single parent family, but stays mostly with his grandparents.  He is a brilliant genius who enters Harvard at 15 and achieved his Doctorate (PHD) degree in Law by the age of 19.   

There are many supporting casts (over 2 parts; *bold names for first part): Raymond Lam, Kenneth Ma, Alec Su, Victor Huang, Leo Ku, Niki Chow, Tavia Yeung, Kevin Cheng, Leila Tong, Ron Ng, Myolie Wu, Jessica Hsuan, Louis Koo, Steven Ma, Charmaine Sheh  As the venue shifts from England to Hong Kong the different roles takes turns having their significance. 

Yes, readers, I'm back with another story after finishing Destination : Death and currently working on finishing Intersection. One way street is still in progress too!

Hey everyone. This is the first time I ever wrote a Leila, Ron, Michelle and Raymond story. I have always written a Alec and Vicki story. So if I am doing something write, please tell me. Ever since I watch Twin of Brothers, I fell in love with their characters.

A young woman holding a baby in her arm with another baby carried on her back rush through the traffic jam through the day. Finally, she landed at her ex-husband's doorstep. She place the baby that was carried on her back earlier and place her carefully into a beautiful basket with a letter on her.

Later that evening, the man return home to find a baby at his doorstep. He picked up the note and began to read, carrying the dear cold child into his home.

We separate for a reason. I understand completely. We just weren't meant to be together. After we separated, I found out that I was pregnant and had twins, both yours. I can't find it to support both child. I am a waitress at this small restaurant and can only support one. Can you support the our baby for me, please? Her name is Michelle. The lamp posts lit up as soon as the sun went down. The playground was now empty. Everyone has left but will return once the moon fades. The playground now belongs to them and them alone. It was filled with many memories of bitter-sweetness that not even the air is tasteless.

“Why did you bring me here? This place is but a barren land where beautiful things began to wither away. The toxic atmosphere and the dark clouds which continue to hover above this place will never dissipate. All will be the same and can never go back to what it was before. Beautiful and with life”, she said sadly as she walked under the light.

He could only force a smile as the window in his eyes opened to his thoughts. “Even the most scorching desert becomes beautiful after a night of rainfall. I never really noticed how beautiful your smile was. Unfortunately, it never lasts. I can only catch a glimpse of it but can never gaze upon it like the crescent moon”, he said with a warm smile.

That night the sky was unstable. The clouds began to thicken and darkened as the light was slowly fading away. Gently, droplets of rain began to fall from the dark clouds hovering above. He stared at her intently with both hands placed against the bark of the tree. She is now trapped, trapped between him and her weeping willow tree. Their eyes came into alignment as they glared painful daggers at one another.

“Is it that fun to bestow such pain upon my soul? Is it that fun to see me slowly dying alive?” he interrogated her coldly, his vicious eyes glaring at her menacingly.

Her eyes were burning with fire as she stared at him full of hatred. The thunders began to roar as the sounds of droplets danced along the verdant grass. “I have done nothing to you but to appear in your life once more. You are the one who is causing these sorrows to devour me whole”, she exclaimed as her eyes glistened. “Damn you…”

Hitting the side of his fist against the tree, he leaned in closer to her and hissed harshly, “I have never hated anyone more than I hate you. I hate you.”

As he continued to whisper more hateful words, he leaned in closer and closer, leaving little room for her to breathe. He did not realize that their lips slightly touched until thunder roared and lightning struck the night sky.

“I thank you for allowing me to taste the bitter-sweetness of a foolish love. Thank you for teaching me such a valuable lesson on love. I will never forget all that you have done and given me”, she said in a soft whisper, trying to hold back the tears brimming in her eyes. “The game is now officially over, there is no more restart…”

Watching the tears form in her eyes brought him nothing but heartache. As he held his hand up to wipe away her fallen tears, she took a step back and turned her head away. “Am I really that despicable for you to not want me to be neither near you nor touch you?” he asked painfully.

All she could do was chuckle bitterly before turning to walk away, not looking back nor stopping for a moment. She was hurt by him once and cannot be hurt by him again. One experience of a broken heart lasts forever.

Plot:

Michelle and Ron are two people with an identical belief, the two of them both believed in love at first sight. They both believed that if a person was meant to be your soulmate, you would feel it right away... and that was how they felt about each other. Everything went on sweetly between the two of them until Michelle fainted on the street alone once... after series and series of tests done on her, she was diagnosed with leukemia - a deadly cancer. Being the only child, her path was soon set to reach nothing but doom. She never told Ron about it, she didn't want him to know and most of all, she didn't want to be a burden for Ron, thus she decided to leave him with a painful break up... Over the years, she had always thought about him, she missed him... and as if God heard her prayers... they met again... but Ron's attitude towards her wasn't the same anymore... he hated her for ditching him years ago... At the same time, Ron's best friend Raymond, who was originally a player was amazed by Michelle's beauty and attitude. He slowly fell in love with her, but was a player like him capable of love? What would happen when he finds out that the person Michelle loves is indeed his best friend?

As for Bernice, she had always been the best friend of Michelle. They shared an apartment together and went to class together. They were friends ever since kindergarten, and it broke her heart to hear the dreadful news of Michelle's sickness. Fortunately for her, someone was there to give her comfort, someone was there to help her... and this someone was her crush - Sammul Chan.

Yes I know, this is one of those sappy story with an unoriginal storyline, but I really wanted to write something that might have a chance of bringing tears to someone's eyes. So, please, bear with me throughout this story...

Once again, this story revolves around a misunderstanding, a sickness, friendship, and love. I grew up in a wonderful environment. My parents and my older brother, Bosco loves me. My parents own the Tong's big International Corporation. My name is Leila Tong and this is the story of my love story between me and my soul mate.

Bosco and I were always close. He was just 3 years older than me. Our parents love us both equally. We were always known as the wealthy family that everyone envy us. My parents were always happy and shower us with unconditional love. Even though we were a wonderful family, our parents would always be working and we were taken care by our nanny, Lina. We love and adore her.

But everything changes, when I first met my first true love. His name was Ron Ng. My parents force me to marry a wealthy man name Raymond. But how could I give my love and spend my entire life with someone that I don't love. My life changes from the time both Ron and Raymond came into my life. I love Ron. There's no doubt in my mind. He's my everything.

My parent's claim that the Lam's Corporation will make our Tong's Corporation a success if we merge together. So they decide to make me throw away all of my happiness and have me marry someone that I haven't met yet. I haven't seen this guy. Isn't that pathetic? My wedding day, changes my entire life upside down and it is never the same again.
